Kiseki w Family/

Kiseki Japanese Buffet Restaurant -
Orchard central 8th floor

"Ohana - it means family, and family means no one gets left behind"
So after a few failed attempts at reservations (it is always full) we finally successfully went to Kiseki for their buffet dinner!

Snapped this two pics and then... i just dug in already haha the food was not bad. If you're a fan of sushi and sashimi then maybe this isn't the place for you cos there wasn't much variety of those. But, quality wise it was pretty good! I liked that slightly smoked sushi (above pic) hehe. Cha soba and chawanmushi is a must for me too whenever i'm at a buffet with japanese selection.
Oh one of my other favourites from kiseki is their smoked duck pasta with special spicy sauce that was soooo good. The duck pales in comparison to the one from Lenas but the pasta was delicious! Too bad they didn't have shishamo though that's one of my all time favourites.

Ever since i worked at Haagen dazs, everytime i see ice cream + ice cream scoop there's a sense of familiarity and i'll be excited to scoop the ice cream (act pro) hahahah. Drizzled fondue chocolate over & i like adding hundreds and thousands on top, they always make the dessert look so much more fun and gives it a nice bite. Ended up too busy taking pics and didnt finish the ice cream and it all melted. Haha.

Heart marshmallow in fondue, and the one who has my heart :)

Pictures with the sumo haha.

We paid about $31.80++ each (weekday, $34.80++ for weekends i think) and i feel it was pretty worth the price :) Most importantly it felt like a complete and lovely dinner, everyone was there, everyone was in good spirits, occasional jokes and good food. Couldn't ask for more. Thankful for moments like these that are harder to come by as we all grow up, and everyone's busy with different things and priorities in life. At the end of the day it's always nice to sit down with family, and just enjoy a meal together, whether outside at the restaurant, or just at home with a home-cooked meal. And i'm glad for us, we haven't lost it yet and every month we'll still have a nice family dinner together :)

Thinking of doing a May favourites posts just for fun but i'm not really sure what i'll include in it.. Haha shall put it on hold for the next couple of days.

OH side note, i completed insanity plyometric cardio circuit today!!!! Crazy routine. Honestly i haven't had the motivation over the past 3 days to complete the videos but am really trying to push through. Glad i found the motivation today (each time i look at my belly fat, yup there's some push that i need to burn it off) and completed it. Pure cardio + cardio abs tomorrow.. i don't even know if i can complete pure cardio but, we'll see how it goes.

Keep pushin'!
Goodnight! x

Adventure Cove Waterpark!

LEAVE ME QUESTIONS @
http://ask.fm/chatterqueenz! :)
Visited adventure cove waterpark @ RWS to celebrate joy's 20th! It was such a fun day with so many first times. We got the chance to snorkel, conquered the obstacle course, rope climbed, platform dived/jumped, went on the water roller coasters etc (the ride's called something rocket, possibly the longest queue but surely worth the wait, it's a must ride). We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves :)

It was really crowded (i guess since it was the weekends, plus it was a long weekend at that) and we had to queue for quite awhile for the rides. But we got to ride on most of it after all and it was still really fun :)

Don't they look like bros haha.

You might never read this, but thank you for being so precious, not just to me but to the world around you. You've been a blessing and joy, and always will. :)
Happy 20th once again! x

It was so crowded at the end of the day at sentosa we couldn't even take the monorail back. Hence we decided to take a stroll back via the sentosa boardwalk, and i'm glad we did. Was greeted by such a beautiful sunset view, plus the travellators made the walk alot easier and faster. Adventure cove waterpark is definitely worth the visit & the $29 entrance fee. Especially the snorkeling, it made the fee thoroughly worthwhile. I'm afraid of fishes and never thought i'd go snorkeling, much less diving, but it was really an amazing experience and i'd definitely wanna go again :) Thing about me that i realised is that, i'm more attracted to big sea creatures like the killer whale, dolphins etc compared to small fishes. Nevertheless 'dory' and bright yellow fishes were really pretty. I liked it.

& As mentioned in the previous post, ended the day off by catching Fast 6 with the birons!
Really liked the show (considering how many times i've watched fast 5 since i have it in my phone haha), liked the twists, plot and everything. Except (scroll through the next part only if you've watched it, unless you want a mini spoiler) that gal gadot died in the show :( She's my first girl crush and i really really liked her. Han's eyes when he looked back into the fire, knowing that she's gone, so heartwrenching. :( Haha but other than that it was a great show and i'd wanna watch it again cos i feel that there's possibly alot of parts that i've missed.
It was a long and tiring day, but a happy and really enjoyable one too. Felt really good to spend quality and long periods of time with people i love too. (Evidently my top love language's quality time, haha in case you'd be interested to know) For these things, and the people, i'm more than thankful, and they're ones i'd treasure and hold dear always.

Ps, 'have a new post coming up...
Kiseki buffet w the fam tonight w pictures. Do check back tomorrow!

For now, goodnight all! x

Sundates w Jae

I was craving for dimsum quite badly after seeing a custard bun picture on instagram, so Jae and i went to our favourite dimsum place to satisfy my craving hehe. Thank you for always being so spontaneous. :)
We ordered all this (pictured) plus one extra steamed pork ribs cos we love it hehe and a yuan yang iced milk tea and it only totalled up to $31 including GST! Pretty reasonable and we do like the food :)

Location: Bao Today
(Just outside 313 somerset!)

My gwapo boy :)

Pretty mint lace dress from H&M, they had it in white too (but it's all size 40/42s left so i didn't even try them on), really pretty dress but still considering if i should get it!

Having a sudden neon yellow/holographic/crochet fashion craze recently, like anything that falls in those categories automatically catches my eyes when i'm out shopping.

Had a nice sundate, spending time with the one who makes me so happy, and also cos' time has became so precious for us now due to his crazy school schedule. It's okay, priorities! :)

Jumble

Here's some random pictures of my week!

Decided to drop by clarke quay to surprise J after his kickboxing class on monday (wow sure doesn't feel like 4 days ago). Reached pretty early so had a little adventure and took a little stroll by the sidewalk, i really enjoyed it. Lone adventures with my music plugged in, enjoying sights like these, it felt really peaceful and i think i really needed it. Always good to have some me time.

Best friend.Soulmate.LOML.
Ps do we really look alike?
Haha we're always having people tell us we look alike! (Not that it's a bad thing haha)

My real lookalike hehe. My superwoman.
Had a random impromptu day out with mummy, little bit of shopping here and there, and we had Lenas for lunch. A little sad when they told us there wasn't the lunch promotion (since it was eve of public holiday) but anyhoo we had it, i like Lenas. This's my third time having their smoke duck pasta and i really really like it alot. Mum had pan fried dory pasta which tasted pretty good too! At Lenas you can choose how you want your pasta done, i had black pepper (not usually a fan but it's really good) and mum had tomato :) We had a pretty good day. I'm thankful.
Baked again today! Becoming our chillax activity. I enjoy it :)
INSANITY DAY 5 DOWN.
Such a random picture haha but i'm really happy with how my legs are aching (means it's working) and that i can really feel 'em toning up. I hope if i pull through, at the end of  the 60 days i'll be able to post those.. transformation pics and that there'll be an evident difference, especially my core, i dont ask for pecs haha just gimme a toned, flat tummy haha.
Don't give up manda! Dig deeper!

We're going to adventure cove tomorrow for joy's birthday then i'm watching FF6 with the birons heh. Hope it all turns out well and that we'll all have fun.
Gonna be a long day, so goodnight & lovely dreams all! :)

Decide. Commit. Succeed.

Beautiful.
I can't wait for the next getaway/staycation.

Insanity day 2.
I must admit it's really crazy, and.. I find myself not even completing the whole day's routine. Usually stopping after half a video. But at least it's going somewhere and i'm getting some workout done haha. Legs are aching, muscles are strained. Slowly but surely, we'll get there. Fitter and stronger.
I hope i'll really be commited and stick to the 60 days, whether or not i can complete a day's routine, so long as push my limits, more and more each day. The longest i've ever stuck to a routine is... one week? So this time i hope this motivation and determination lasts.

Side note, i got a job!
Thanks to F who helped me w it heh. Was a really haste decision but who knows something good might come out of it :) And it beats staying at home all day. A little nervous but that's where we all learn and get experience. It'll also mean less time with J but, i'm glad we both know how to set priorities, and that we'll work something out, some way or another :)

Lovely dreams! x

Am i?

It's always nice to have a little assurance.
Some say this is a cheesy video, some say it's just sweet talk.
But it's so well thought out, and heartfelt.

Who am i?
